WWHM Program Note

WWHM readers such as this guy may have noticed I haven't been posting as frequently since the Christmas break. I recently landed my first paid writing gig, and along with my co-worker here, I have to keep up my side job of plastics stress testing as well. It's going to be taking up a lot of my time over the next couple of months.

I will continue to post as often as possible, but the time constraints and deadlines of my new job must now take precedence over WWHM. But don't worry, posts will continue to go up! And remember, you can always subscribe to WWHM at the bottom of the page. You guys have been the greatest fans in the world and I hope you stick with me.

Just in case anyone asks- no it's not any type of creative writing gig, so you'll never want to read what I'm producing unless you need something to put you to sleep.

Unfortunately it's just plain ol' work, but it is writing work so I love it nonetheless.

Congrats, nonetheless.

(I've been poking around on this blog for quite a while now and just finally got around to saying stuff)

You do have quite a knack for writing!

Congrats on the paying gig. Its good to know that you're off the street and being semi productive, unlike the rest of us degenerates around here

Congrats on your paying job, at least it's work...

Either that small horse is a gorgeous example of a miniature horse, or the guy is so awful it makes the horse look drop dead beautiful..

Careful there Weasel, you might lose your carrot to the pony!

Congrats!!
I do have trouble sleeping these days, so if you ever need proof reading, contact me (be warned tho, deadlines and I dont work well together)

I believe that pony is saying "WTF?? Elvis IS alive!!"

At least he's honest about the package deal? I'd sure call 'Elvis' just to go steal that cute pony!!

Congrats about having a real job; My mental thesaurus is always at your disposal, and never doubt that your readers have some expertise in whatever you may be writing about if you get stuck!

I had a horse bite my friend's nipple once- quite hard- when he was attempting to ride shirtless, so I'll second schammieschammie's caution!

Congratulations on the job! Writing gigs are hard to come by, and you deserve to get one of the few that pay :-) Keep us posted!

Yay for getting a job Weas! Even if it's a boring one. I hope the pay is good.

That pony looks so embarrassed to be in the same yard as that Elvis wannabe, never mind on the same planet.

Congrats Weasel, we all have to make $$$ somehow. Not a mini nor a pony, that folks, is an Arab. Poor horse. Weasel, what is with your gender? Why in the world, if you looked like that, would you want a picture taken???

Anonymous said...

4thehorses, it may be an Arab, but surely it is also a pony? It looks teeny! (Or are Arabs one of those weird breeds that considers all their animals "horses" even if they are technically pony-sized by the rest of the world's standards?)

Anyway, glad you have a good excuse for abandoning us Weasel, I was starting to get worried! Congrats on the job :)

Congratulations! Always great to get a job doing something you love.

Congrats Weas! More money means more rooms in for the harem!

Cute horse. Weird Elvis guy. He looks like a cake wreck topper that ate all the cakes he was ever put on.

Michigan bred shetlands often have that nice neck, though he's a shade large for shetland (depending on elvis-the-gnomes actual heigth). I'd say pony's head is to nice for a shetland, and not quite nice enough for a welsh... but that's just my opinion, of course.

As long as your words bring in $$$$, it's all good. You know the crap I write/edit is like nembutal, but it pays the rent. I'm just looking for a bit more because the community college client claimed "budget cut" and cut me off the consultant payroll. Of course it's still paying a broadcast journalism major (who has lost three high-profile PR jobs because can't write or strategize) $100K to do "communications." With me gone, they'll see she's a fraud but they are stuck with her now ...

Now did you get that gig training drug-sniffing miniature horses because us readers from Fugly inspired your love of horses?

Ah weasel, hopefully this job leads to better, more entertaining ones for you.

Smallish horse + big guy + weird camera angle = the "because it's been years since he's seen it, Elvis asks horse if penis is still there" picture.
Congrats on the paying gig, Weas. I remember those. Enjoy.

That's an Anglo Arab we picked up at the knackers. Her name is Tootsie.

Good for you, Weasel. Anything paid is always a big ego boost...and if it pays the bills, too, so much the better.

And where, oh where, did you get that nasty, nasty picture???!!

NOTE FROM EDITOR

This entry had a different picture when originally posted.

By viewer request it was removed.

That's why some of the comments might seem a little odd. The previous picture had a horse.

Weasel, you keep mentioning the option of subscribing to this blog. When I click the subscribe link at the bottom of the page it brings up another page asking me to "subscribe to this feed using" and then there are options including My Yahoo and Google but I cannot figure out a way to get an e-mail sent to any account when new posts are added to this blog. Is anyone getting e-mail notifications, and if so how did you do it? I missed the Arab/pony/Elvis/whatever picture. :(

How on EARTH could the pony picture be more disturbing than THIS one? I am now forever haunted.

But it IS rather hilariooos.

Congrats on the job!

Anonymous said...

OH GOD MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where the hell were the kittens for this one??

Hyena Overlord said...

I agree with cattypex, the new pic is shocking and will haunt me forever. I will never look at a grown man, buying inflatable water wings in the dollar store, as just another innocent shopper buying an inflatable device ever again.
